It's been awhile since I've put up a blog post here. Social media and branding is exhausting, especially for an introvert that doesn't like talking about themselves too much.
So, a few months ago, I was super demoralized by the endless stream of rejections I was getting from literary agents. My current count is nearly 40, as well as a rejection from a prominent publisher that accepts unsolicited manuscripts. Not a single request for a full, or even a partial.
I was ready to abandon "The Hellborn King" and try an entirely new project to try and get representation. But the more I tried to write a different book, the more I felt in my heart that walking away from "The Hellborn King" was a mistake.
Long story short, I've decided to self publish. The book is polished to perfection, formatted by a professional, and the cover art is absolutely bad ass! I feel like I've made the right decision, and I'm so excited to be able to unleash this beast into the world. As of now, I'm looking at April 5th for the release date.
